Districts

Today, I ran in districts for track. I ran the 4x4 and we made it by default because the top 4 teams go and there were only four teams and we ran really bad at subdistricts so everyone thought we would bomb districts. Well, we surprised and got 5th out of 8. I also PR'd on my 400 times at 1:09! If I can get pictures, then I will upload them.

Star Wars-like Landspeeders

Wired News

This is a great film about how soldiers are getting unseen help... Just don't expect womprats with it. (Sorry, that was a little Star Wars joke for you fans.)

That Hurt So Much

OK, I love lacrosse. I'll say that it is the greatest sport ever, but still... when a sixth grader whose 6'2" and 300 lbs. decks you, man my arm is swollen twice the size. Also, you have no idea how hard it is to type with a slow left hand.

My Day Ends...

Well, I got to stay home from school because I was sick today. That is why I made those FFTA2 posts today. Sorry, but don't expect anything big tomorrow.

FFTA2 Update

In my last post I said that there would be videos. Well, if you follow the links in the last post, then you can download them for your self, but mine just won't upload. Sorry.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced 2: Grimoire of the Rift

Let's see, where to start...

Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced was possibly the greatest strategy RPG for the Gameboy Advanced. It was filled with Final Fantasy references, spells, characters, and worlds. Crystals played a huge role in it, like most FF games out there. FFTA2 should be much like the same, according to the images, videos, and previews done by Gamespot, IGN, and Square Enix. Warning, SE's site takes a while to load. If you don't really like strategy RPG's then, well you should look at the following pictures, movies, and the site's I linked to. Feast your eyes on:

Dell Release New XPS

This is a little old, like a few hours which is a long time in the tech world, but here is the news concerning the release of the new
Dell XPS gaming. Basically, they over-clock even further with the acquisition of Alienware. The base air cooled cost is $3,999 and water cooled is $4,999 and if you personalize it on Dell's website, then it can run up to $9,000. I don't know about you, but when I have the money, no cars or stuff for me, I am going headlong into the Dell XPS.

Technolgy Fun

Wired NewsThis is alittle bit of fun about some of the most famous and obscure pieces of recent history. Check out the TV. This is really special.

Books/Sports/Music/Technology

I thought I'd start my blogging career back up with some intense writing. I covered all the topics I said I would so knock your self out. Today I review Epic, talk lacrosse news, and discuss Coldplay. Have fun.
--Books/Technology
Epic by Conor Kostick is a great book about a boy who lives in a world where the currency is money obtained in a MMORPG and all of the governmental rules are created there too. He tries to do the impossible and slay a dragon to obtain enough money to buy superior armor to challenge the ruling government.
--Sports
Today I received an email from my lacrosse coach about how Kyle Harrison and Brett Hughes are coming to a Bigfoot lacrosse store in my area. If you want to go and live in Oregon, then this the place to be. They will be signing sticks, jerseys, and talking lacrosse.
Coming to Bigfoot Lacrosse on Sunday May,11th from 4-6pm.

STX Presents:
Kyle Harrison

MLL All-Star

2005 Tewaaraton Trophy Winner
2004 McLaughlin Award (Top Midfielder in US)

Brett Hughes

2004 National Championship
LA Riptide
--Music
I don't know if you listen to Coldplay much, but when they broke up, the world lost a great band. Well, now they are back and their knew song/album is excellent! Viva la Vida has some pretty great songs in it, but the best is nothing like the old Coldplay. Violet Hill sounds more like slightly over weight metal, with some emo rock lyrics. Great band, great album, great song. If you want a free copy click here.

Startup/Books

Well, looks like I'm back. A lot of people used to read my old blog, www.starwarsandmore.blogspot.com, but I sort of ran out of time to keep posting with stuff in my life and all. So now I'm back.

I will be running a set thing every Friday, Saturday, or Sunday that discusses one of 4 things. Sports, Technology, Books, and Music. If you really want to hear about something or have a good song, book, or anything else, just respond to the latest post. This week I'll start with Books.
--Books Pick of the Week
World War Z by Max Brooks.
If you dislike zombies, violence, or just about anything scary, I don't recommend this book to you. It is a book that spans the world with interviews from the Zombie War. It goes in depth into culture, emotions, and language. This author is the son of Mel Brooks, so he is already pretty famous. It will keep you wanting for more.
